May is home-grown and keeps her hive in good order. She’s a good layer producing an impressive amount of approximately 2000 larvae per day in the summer. Her calmness is reflected in the whole hive.
Beyonce can sometimes be hard to find as she likes to reside at the bottom of the hive. She can be a bit temperamental and although not a prolific layer, is steady and constant in her behaviour. Hers is a quiet hive, they love the smoker when it has dried lavender in it.
Full of 'airs and graces', this queen enjoys the hive which is in the shade, reflective of her cool and calm temperament. She is nearly 4 years old.
Lioness is a prolific layer and commands a strong hive. Her colony is very good, being the most prolific in honey production as well as keeping the boys (drones) in check.
Our Queen Angel is vibrant beyond words. Her bees travel to a carnival of colourful wildflowers and love to forage in the summer meadows. The honey is as vibrant and colourful as her namesake.
This queen is also homegrown, a determined queen, she has grown her colony quickly during the season and shows signs of calmness, maintaining the order of the hive. She is a prolific layer and is normally easy to find.

Tipped to be one of our breeder queens for 2025, Queen Saffron is a prolific layer known for her calm demeanour. Her hive is serene and producing an abundance of honey.
